Whitmer sat down with students, mother and father, educators and mental wellness experts on Monday (April 25) to advocate for added mental well being investments in universities.
Whitmer’s fiscal 12 months 2023 Faculty Support Fund spending plan suggestion would spend $361 million for university-centered mental wellbeing products and services. Individuals solutions would include things like selecting and retaining mental wellness experts and opening 40 new clinics for students across the condition.

Whitmer’s proposed mental well being expense
